BILL · 1993–94 SESSION

HB 2340: Sex offender registration

Clarifying sex offender registration provisions.

Summary

  • Active supervision for purposes of the Community Protection Act is as defined by the Department of Corrections, the Department of Social and Health Services, or a local division of youth services. A change in supervision status of a sex offender who was required to register as of July 28, 1991, does not relieve the offender of the registration requirements.
