BILL · 1993–94 SESSION
SB 5095: Public officials term limits
Limiting terms of certain elected officials.
Summary
- Other than the state officials affected by Initiative 537 (C 1, L 93), a state, judicial or local elected official is eligible to serve not more than 12 consecutive years in any position to which he or she was elected. A term served due to appointment does not count against the 12-year limit.
