BILL · 1997–98 SESSION · LATEST VERSION SHB 1089

HB 1089: AFDC references corrected

Correcting references to the former aid to families with dependent children program.

Summary

  • The Revised Code of Washington contains many references to "Aid to Families with Dependent Children." These references appear in several titles, as well as throughout the title dealing with public assistance. References to "Aid to Families with Dependent Children" are replaced with references to "Temporary Assistance to Needy Families," without modifying the underlying code sections in which the references appear.
