SB 5050: Nursing facilities rates
Affirming and clarifying the legislative authority to treat the initial rate set for refurbished and new nursing facilities as that rate which is established on July 1, 1995, for purposes of applying the eighty-five percent minimum occupancy requirement.
Summary
- The minimum occupancy rate is dropped to 85 percent for a facility that opened its doors between January 1, 1994 and June 30, 1994 and was unable to reach capacity. This has the effect of increasing the facility's payment rate.
