BILL · 1999–00 SESSION
HB 1624: Health care decisions
Regulating health care services decisions.
Summary
- Finds that health carrier practices that unjustly delay or deny medically appropriate care and treatment to consumers are unconscionable. When consumers are facing serious, even life-threatening diseases or conditions, they are least able to fight with their health carrier in order to get access to needed health care and treatment.
