SB 5058: Vehicle fuel tx payment date

Modifying fuel tax payment requirements.

Summary

  • Motor vehicle fuel taxes and special fuel taxes are due the 26th day of the month following the reporting period when remitting fuel tax payments.
  • Distributor is allowed to remit fuel tax payments to fuel supplier seven days before the 26th day of the month following the reporting period.
