SB 6355: Tolls

Concerning the imposition of tolls.

Summary

  • (DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE) Establishes a policy that is intended to guide subsequent legislation and decisions regarding the tolling of specific facilities and corridors. Reserves the authority to impose tolls on any state transportation route or facility for the legislature. Provides that unless otherwise delegated, only the legislature may authorize the imposition of tolls on eligible toll facilities.
