HB 1002: Abortions/public funds use
Concerning public funds being used for elective abortions.
Summary
- Restricts public funding of abortion unless the abortion is determined to be medically necessary. Prohibits the secretary of the department of health from entering into contracts, distributing grants, or directing funds to an organization that provides elective abortions or is affiliated with an organization that provides elective abortions.
