Concerning defective license plates issued by the department of licensing.

Summary

  • Requires the Department of Licensing (DOL) to waive all fees for a replacement license plate or plates if the license plate is defective, is within 24 months of issuance, and is for the same vehicle.
  • Allows the DOL to waive fees for a replacement license plate or plates if the license plate is defective, is between two to five years of issuance, and is for the same vehicle.
