Summary
Expands the types of reimbursable out-of-pocket personal expenses for campaign and surplus funds to include expenses incurred to purchase a personal security.
Authorizes the Secretary of the Senate and the Chief Clerk of the House to contract with the Washington State Patrol to provide security to legislators at public events with a legislative nexus.
Allows criminal history record information to be shared with the sergeant-at-arms of the legislative bodies.
Expands the Address Confidentiality Program to elected officials and those who reside with elected officials.
Authorizes the redaction and nondisclosure of the residential address and associated parcel number of prosecuting attorneys, deputy prosecuting attorney, and those who reside with any such person contained in certain records, subject to exceptions.
