SB 5141: University medical buildings

Concerning the alternative process for awarding contracts for university medical buildings and facilities.

Summary

  • The maximum dollar threshold for projects that qualify for the alternative contract award process for university buildings and facilities in which critical patient care is located is increased from $5 million to $10 million. The sunset and termination of the alternative contract award process section is repealed and the alternative contract award process becomes permanent.
