SB 5834: Urban growth areas

Concerning urban growth areas.

Summary

  • Allows a county to revise an urban growth area during an annual comprehensive plan update, if certain conditions are met.
  • Requires the county to meaningfully consult with a federally recognized Indian tribe that could be potentially affected by an urban growth area revision prior to making the revision.
