Concerning cannabis testing laboratories.

Summary

  • Requires the Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) to accept the accreditation of a cannabis testing laboratory by the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA).
  • Repeals provisions establishing the interagency coordination team for laboratory quality standards.
  • Terminates any authority previously exercised by LCB to certify, approve, or otherwise authorize testing laboratories.
  • Allows LCB to request that WSDA take enforcement action if LCB identifies evidence of unethical or fraudulent practices relating to the generation or reporting of data.
